Rapid urbanization is a character of all the Third World Countries related with growth rate of population. The increase in population leads to increase in land requirements, especially in areas of rural economy. This leads to land fragmentation and consequently people are thrown out the land. Those who find themselves redundant on the land drift to the cities, where they make desperate efforts to seek employment.
